PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE NICE CREAM (Gluten, Dairy Free)

 

With summer approaching we are excited to make more frozen desserts like this treat. Super quick to make and family friendly! Enjoy 

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE NICE CREAM 

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen overripe bananas 
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (can omit if you want less sweet)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Optional: Super Pop Bar topping (we used PB & Chocolate)

Instruction

  • Make sure the bananas are at least partially brown before chopping and freezing them. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Process until completely smooth, adding a little milk of choice if your blender isn’t strong enough to handle the frozen banana. Either serve immediately as soft serve, or freeze for up to an hour before scooping out with an ice cream scoop. For extra crispy & deliciousness add a PB & Chocolate Super Pop bar.
