Life is busy and sometimes you just need a snack the whole family will enjoy. We love baking here at the Super Pop HQ and always try and incorporate nutrient dense foods into our baking treats. These gluten, soy and dairy free donuts are packed with whole grains, healthy fats and protein. Bake today, eat a few and freeze the rest for when you are short on time and need a quick snack on the go! 

ALMOND BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL DONUTS

 
2 bananas
1 egg
1 cup oats
3 heaping TBS almond butter 
1/4 cup flax meal 
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla 
1/4 cup chocolate chips 
Optional: Add 1/4 cup maple syrup for extra sweetness
Instructions: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Throw all in a blender (minus the chocolate chips) and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour in a donut or muffin pan. Bake for 15-17 min or until brown.
